Evocative Heritage

I trained in museum curation specialising in museum education and have devoted much of my career to exploring issues of cultural diversity in museums including issues of cultural representation, repatriation and community engagement.
I now work as a freelance consultant, curator, exhibition developer and museum educator offering services in interpretation and education to museums, art galleries and heritage organisations. I specialise in museums and cultural diversity, strategies designed to actively engage audiences of all ages, and have a particular interest in designing exhibitions for children.
Please download a brochure to learn more about the museum consultancy services that I offer.
I also offer a range of illustrated presentations on topics related to museums, visual arts and cultural diversity.
I have a long list of publications including Museums and Repatriation (1997) and Making Representations: Museums in the Post-colonial Era (2001). You can buy the book by clicking here. You can see my publication lists here.
